In 2020, Nick Murray and myself were commisioned to write a new piece of music by The Quietus and Aerial Festival. It was to be based around the works of the poet wordsworth and respond to current global issues.
What resulted was an ep of 3 tracks:
The collaboration turned into a partnership, where Nick and i have grown the initial idea into a vast world of stories, music, artworks, installations and more based around a mythical birch tree and the community that lives beneath and within it.
We call it The beating Birch.
